Backing Fabrics
A quilt backing uses either one piece of fabric or several pieces of fabric. Quilt backing fabrics are usually wider than regular fabrics and can accommodate queen and king beds. Consequently, fabrics are made specifically for quilting and are usually more extensive than the quilt top.
